Film Synopsis

Black youth are portraying the life that they live in a racist society that tends to deny them opportunity solely because of skin colour. They are talented and full of creativity.

The main actor, Evan (acted out by Caleb N) is also the scriptwriter, producer and editor of his own film. In this film, which is his third amateur production, he is depicting a life that is commonly lived by black youth in Canada.

Koyekola is a black Sci-Fi flick about a black youth named Evan,  who struggles to find his purpose & calling in the world as he feels the world & society have so little invested in him and he personally does not feel the need to invest back. He lacks self-worth & lives his life recklessly, cuts corners & does not want to work past his fears & daily struggles, leading into his own demise at the end of story.
